#YMBARO 2 – The Daily Grind

#YMBARO 2 – The Daily Grind

every morning is a grind.

For the restaurant owner and their staff, there are food deliveries to accept, ingredients to prepare, ice buckets to fill, meat and vegetables to cut, containers to fill, garnishes to get ready, and more.

A Team Effort

Every morning requires a dozen people working together to ensure that we can open our doors on time. Take away just one of those people, and it’s guaranteed to be a stressful day. If two of our staff have to call out, that can jeopardize our being ready to open the doors for lunch. The restaurant owner must work with managers and employees they trust and can depend upon to make certain that the day runs smoothly.

As the morning progresses and the team finishes the initial prep work, the restaurant owner must then turn their attention to other matters, such as finances, supplier orders, work schedules, menu planning, and more.

Relax? No. We’re Just Getting Started

By the time we can finally open the doors and welcome our guests into our dining room, our team has been working an entire work day to make everything just right for our first patron’s arrival. When you make the best service and the freshest food a couple of your business’s pillars, you also choose to take on much more effort than other restaurants that don’t. For most high-end restaurants, it’s tremendous work to set the first appetizer in front of their first guest, and we take it even further with our sustainability practices.
