DIVERSITY + INCLUSION

As a family-owned business, we at Southpark Seafood are saddened and outraged at the racist killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless others at the hands of the police. In this time of momentous importance for our country, we stand with those who are protesting injustice and advocating for change. We believe unequivocally that Black Lives Matter. In addition to our commitment to diversity and inclusion within our business, we also want to do our part to combat racial inequality. As such, we are donating to the Urban League of Portland on behalf of all our businesses.

Southpark Seafood believes diversity and inclusion is a cornerstone of a healthy society and is correspondingly good for business. We choose to maintain an operating policy that does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, disability, marital status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, military status, or political viewpoint, in any of our activities.

We respect the rights of all groups to conduct business in a safe and appropriate manner, and welcome all to partake in the services we offer. Our first duty is to provide a safe environment for our guests/members, employees, and the surrounding community.

At Southpark we believe in diversity of thought. If people think differently we are more creative and better able to serve our diverse clientele. Diversity of thought is a product of diverse backgrounds and experiences. We champion people who are inclusive, creative, and who seek solutions to unique needs."
